DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION

Prime’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is rooted
in our collective values as a company and inseparable from our purpose and dedication to serving others.

MIssion

A journey toward ongoing improvement

Diversity and inclusion efforts are seen, heard and felt. These positive outward actions become part of our DNA as an organization.

Our employees and D&I Council leaders champion diversity and inclusion (D&I) awareness, initiatives, communication, outreach and events at Prime Therapeutics to foster strong employee engagement and business success and reflect the communities in which we live and serve.

Our passion

Every journey starts with a step. Our step was embarking on a path toward creating a more diverse, equitable and inclusive culture; both under our roof and with clients and partners.

Our people

The most important outcome of our journey is that all of Prime’s people know how to learn from each other, have courageous conversations, and turn words and ideas into understanding and action.

Our progress

When we examine how we talk about our DEI efforts and the words we use, we can be honest in our challenges and clear in our objectives moving forward.

“At Prime we’re committed to creating an open, inclusive culture that’s mission-oriented and focused on providing meaningful work for our employees. To do this, we needed to weave our DEI commitments into the fabric of our culture, creating guideposts as we individually strive each day to shape, nurture and sustain our culture”

“When Magellan Rx employees transitioned to Prime in 2022, we felt the radical welcomeness that is foundational to building an inclusive environment. As we continue to grow together, we’ll stay committed to creating an even more inclusive, equitable culture as we chart a course to that brighter future we envision.”

“We are dedicated to allyship in its multiple forms. We do this individually by continuing our own learning. With each other, we learn to speak up when it’s right and lend a supportive hand or ear. We do this at home with our families and in our communities. And now we want to do more of this at work with our teams and departments, using our words and our actions.”

MEMBER EXPERIENCE

Embracing differences

Culture, family dynamics, belief systems and other characteristics can affect health care and outcomes. That understanding helps deliver a better member experience. Multilingual member communications and contact center support, a Spanish and a large font member website are important pieces to the member experience.
