Dakota-Scott Workforce Development Board recognized Prime Therapeutics as a 2021 Employer of Excellence

Prime makes list in 2021 for the third time, in part due to its employee engagement initiatives

Prime Therapeutics (Prime) is one of the ten organizations recognized as a 2021 Employer of Excellence by the Dakota-Scott Workforce Development Board. The program honors employers in Dakota and Scott counties for exemplary practices to attract and retain employees. Prime made the list in 2021 for the third time, in part due to its employee engagement initiatives including the Welcome Ambassadors program, which replaces a single onboarding event. Prime also stood out for its Diversity & Inclusion Council and employee resource groups (ERGs) which help champion diversity and inclusion awareness, initiatives, outreach and events.

Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Erin Feigal today accepted the award on behalf of Prime during a virtual event. “Of course, we’re focused on making the right hires, but our ‘radical welcomeness’ approach introduces new Prime joiners to all aspects of our culture, giving them the opportunity to network outside of their work,” said Feigal. This long-term, holistic experience is designed to keep new hires engaged throughout their Prime journey.”

Participants completed a 41-question survey that allowed their employment practices to be analyzed by a consulting firm. Employers were ranked in 37 categories including rate of employee growth, benefits offered and percentage of employees who attended training in 2020.
