Prime Therapeutics’ (Prime) signature PrimeCares corporate giving and volunteer program is anchored by a simple strategy: Do. Give. Go.

In 2020, Prime employees donated $416,000 to six different charities relevant to Prime’s mission, including $200,000 towards Prime’s newly created Prime Together Foundation. Other beneficiaries included: The American Heart Association (AHA), Children’s Hospitals and Clinics, Habitat for Humanity, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Prime matched $48,000 in donations to more than 200 charitable organizations in 2020. During COVID-19, Prime offered an additional matching donation to that employees could utilize which allowed us to contribute an additional $15,000 to more than 70 charities.

Prime employees volunteered nearly 3,200 hours in 2020. And, they received an additional 8-hours to volunteer in their communities. Prime matched $125 for every eight hours volunteered – 344 hours in total – for which an additional $5,400 was given to 15 charities. Prime also donated $15,000 for a wide range of natural disasters.

In the wake of ongoing social justice issues, Prime employees voted to create the Prime Together Foundation to address inequality and injustice, including racism, health care disparities, poverty and hunger. Plans are underway for the Foundation to award its first grants by the end of 2021.

“Our employees’ financial contributions helped support the health of our communities and allowed us to launch the Prime Together Foundation,” said Erin Feigal, senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Prime. “We’re proud to match their donations to help organizations in need.”
