Prime’s community giving program, PrimeCares, brings employees together to donate, volunteer and participate in community events. Employees raised more than $327,000 for charity partners in 2023.

Our passion for helping people goes beyond health care. Prime and Magellan Rx employees support four charity partners and the Prime Together Foundation by volunteering, participating in local events and donating.

Matching programs
Prime and Magellan Rx match 100% of employee donations up to $500 annually toward eligible 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. And for every eight hours an employee volunteers with an organization, Prime and Magellan Rx match $125 (up to $500 annually).
Employee volunteer time off
Our employees value giving their time to their community, and we support that by providing 16 paid volunteer hours annually. Employees may use these hours to take paid time off and volunteer in their community with a local 501(c)3 organization.

Week of Giving is an annual event that allows our employees to come together to support our five charity partners, many of which address the major health care conditions we help our clients manage.

Prime together foundation
Working together to create change in our communities
The Prime Together Foundation works with our communities to address inequality and injustice in all its manifestations, particularly racism, poverty, health and hunger. Through donations from employees and other stakeholders, the foundation has distributed more than $458,000 in grants to 28 organizations.
