PRIME TOGETHER FOUNDATION
Creating positive change in our communities
In the wake of ongoing social injustices, our employees established the Prime Together Foundation (the Foundation) in 2022 to work with our communities to address inequality and injustice in all forms, particularly racism, poverty, health and hunger. Each year since, we’ve provided grants to help address these inequities, supporting organizations like the Hennepin Healthcare Foundation and Living Well Disability Services to drive needed change in their communities.
See how a grant from the Foundation helped the Hennepin Healthcare Foundation create positive change in their community.

CULTURE-SPECIFIC COMMUNICATIONS
Meeting members where they are
Because we serve members from all cultures, abilities and walks of life, it’s crucial that we communicate using the languages they prefer and the methods that work for them. A large part of our work is serving our Spanish-speaking members, and we also serve members who speak other languages and have different accessibility needs, including through contact center assistance, translation services and alternative material formats.
- In 2023, our Spanish-speaking contact center agents took a total of 16,592 calls in Spanish.
- More than 160 callers requested a callback in Spanish in 2023.
- In 2023, we used a third-party translation and interpreter service for 1,228 calls or 21,216 minutes in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Polish, Cantonese, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Russian, Korean, Somali and other languages.
