Be your authentic self

We champion a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace that reflects the communities in which we live and serve.

Our diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) mission

At Prime Therapeutics (Prime), we’re helping people understand how to learn from each other and turning words and ideas into understanding and action.

Radical welcomeness

We believe in a culture of radical welcomeness — and that starts with your very first chat with a Prime recruiter.

In their own words

Our open, inclusive culture encourages every employee to bring their full, authentic self to work.
"There is no doubt that this is a long journey, but we are taking steps in the right direction to achieve a more diverse and inclusive workplace where our employees feel comfortable being their authentic selves.”

Zabrina Watkins

Director, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
“At Prime we’re committed to creating an open, inclusive culture that’s purpose-oriented and focused on providing meaningful work for our employees. To do this, we needed to weave our DEI commitments into the fabric of our culture, creating guideposts as we individually strive each day to shape, nurture and sustain our culture.”

Ashley Block

Vice President, Human Resources Business Partnership
"Prime’s DEI efforts make me feel confident that the company is working to become more transparent and equitable. I feel that I can be more authentic to myself at work knowing that diversity, equity and inclusion are valued in the company. By feeling welcome at Prime, I am encouraged to apply those same values in serving our clients and members.”

Asian, Pacific Islander, Desi, and Allies Employee Resource Group Chairperson

DEI milestones

Our everyday language can make a world of difference in whether a Prime employee or partner feels included or excluded, heard or ignored. By examining how we talk about our DEI efforts and the words we use, we can be honest in our challenges and clear in our objectives moving forward.

The member experience

Culture, family dynamics, belief systems and other factors can affect the care people receive — and their health. That understanding helps us meet members’ unique needs through solutions like multilingual communications and contact center support, Spanish and large-font member websites, and accessible digital and print materials.

Diverse supplier registration

We partner with and provide opportunities to diverse suppliers, including companies that are certified through one or more of the following:

  • National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)
  • National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC)
  • U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
  • Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
  • U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
