Hypercholesterolemia

Hypercholesterolemia, or high cholesterol, is a condition people have when they have increased cholesterol levels in their blood. People with high cholesterol are more prone to heart-related issues. Hypercholesterolemia may be genetic or acquired due to diet. Your doctor will diagnose hypercholesterolemia through a lipid panel and may suggest changes in diet and physical activity levels to address your cholesterol levels. See below to search for more info on hypercholesterolemia (or other health topics), schedule an appointment with a care specialist or connect with additional resources.
