Oncology (cancer)

There are many kinds of cancer that can develop anywhere in the body. The two main categories of cancer are Hematologic (blood) and solid tumor. Blood cancers include leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Solid tumor cancers include cancers of the body organs or tissues. The most common are breast, prostate, lung and colorectal cancers. Cancer varieties differ in how quickly they grow, spread and respond to treatment. Certain cancers are treated with surgery while others respond better to drugs; sometimes two or more treatments can give the best results. See below to search for more info on oncology (cancer) conditions, schedule an appointment with a care specialist or connect with additional resources.
