A round of applause for the 2023 President’s Award winners

Prime/Magellan Rx President’s Awards recognize individual and team winners for their outstanding work and commitment to the company’s purpose

Each year, Prime Therapeutics and Magellan Rx (Prime/MRx) celebrates the President’s Awards, honoring individuals and teams that have driven exceptional success toward company goals within the last 12 months. Finalists are selected by Prime/MRx’s executive team, and winners are announced in the fall.

“It fills me with great pride to recognize and thank our finalists and award recipients,” said Mostafa Kamal, president and CEO of Prime Therapeutics. Kamal continued, ”Our people are our most valuable differentiator, and the opportunity to recognize the amazing work accomplished in 2023 fills me with enthusiasm for all that we will continue to achieve together in 2024 and beyond.”

Individual President’s Award winner

Simone Ndujiuba, product development director of clinical oncology, was named the individual President’s Award winner. Her work related to clinical strategy and innovation enables Prime/MRx to consistently remain ahead of market shifts to bring unique solutions to health plans, providers and members that will ultimately improve quality of care across the continuum.

“No other company is providing the level of expertise Simone provides to our members,” said Steve Cutts, senior vice president and market general manager of specialty. Cutts nominated Simone and presented her extraordinary accomplishments in a recent ceremony. Cutts expressed Simone’s exemplary dedication, leadership and history of exceeding expectations in her role.

Team President’s Award winners

This year, two teams were selected for their remarkable work to effectively integrate Prime/MRx operations, processes, teams and more as two companies became one.

The Integration Management Office (IMO) team created a comprehensive integration strategy, translating goals into meaningful objectives and initiatives and continually reinforcing with stakeholders of the motive behind the work.

The Prime/MRx HR Acquisition team received the award for their thoughtful planning, diligent work and employee centric mindset to smoothly onboard more than 3,000 team members during the integration process.

The President’s Award ceremony was held on Dec. 6 in Orlando, FL. The agenda included a welcome from Erin Feigal, senior vice president, chief human resources officer, and special presentations for all the individual and team finalists. Mostafa Kamal closed the ceremony with the winners’ announcement.
