Fighting inequality, promoting justice
We’re passionate about helping local organizations combat inequalities and injustice. In 2020, our employees shared that they wanted to make a difference and create real change. So we created the Prime Together Foundation, which has distributed more than $458,000 in grants.
Mission
Work with our communities to address inequality and injustice in all its manifestations, particularly racism, poverty, health and hunger.
Grantmaking
Our Diversity & Inclusion Council recommends how funds are allocated, and the Foundation’s Board of Directors approves all grants.

Strengthening our communities

Achieve rallies community support and delivers best-in-class programs to inspire and equip young people in Minneapolis and Saint Paul for careers, college and life.
Appetite For Change uses food as a tool to build health, wealth and social change.
Avivo increases well-being through recovery and career advancement while working to end homelessness.
Bear Hug Cattle Company provides veterans with the skills, resources and connections to get a job in the ranching industry as they transition out of the military.
The Bridge for Youth offers site-based transitional living units designated as age-appropriate and safe, specifically for teen parents experiencing homelessness. In addition to serving pregnant and parenting teens, The Bridge for Youth meets the unique needs of youth who identify as BIPOC and/or LGBTQ+ and those experiencing trauma that, if left untreated, could lead to mental health issues, juvenile crime and substance abuse.
Casa Esperanza empowers individuals and families to recover from addiction, trauma, mental illness and other chronic medical conditions; overcome homelessness; and achieve health and wellness through comprehensive, integrated care.
The Children’s Advocacy Center provides safety, healing and justice for children victimized by abuse or neglect.
Cincinnati Youth Collaborative empowers children and young adults to overcome obstacles and succeed in education, career and life.
Connections to Independence provides unique programming and advocacy for foster care youth ages 14–24 to promote a successful and healthy transition to living independently as they reach adulthood.
For 10 years, the Dakota Child and Family Clinic (DCFC) has served the needs of children and adults, regardless of their ability to pay. DCFC provides high-quality, patient-centric services in a caring atmosphere that is accessible and inclusive to meet their patients’ social and mental health needs, both in and outside the clinic’s walls.
EVOLVE Family Services provides a full breadth of inclusive, ethical programming: adoption, foster care, pregnancy support, youth services and education.
Face to Face advances economic and health equity for youth while providing support, opportunities and access to resources as they build on their strengths and achieve their aspirations.
Free2Luv transforms and save lives through art-driven, interactive programming.
The Hennepin Healthcare Foundation ensures access to outstanding care for everyone while improving health and wellness through teaching, patient and community education, and research.
Jeremiah Program’s mission is to disrupt the cycle of poverty for single mothers and their children, two generations at a time.
The Link works with youth and families to overcome the impacts of poverty and social injustice.
Living Well Disability Services transforms the lives of people impacted by disabilities through the delivery of exceptional services.
MATTER helps people launch projects that improve communities.
MIGIZI Communications provides a strong circle of support that nurtures the educational, social, economic and cultural development of American Indian youth.
Neighborhood House provides people with the skills, knowledge and confidence to thrive in diverse communities.
Nishna Productions provides support and opportunity for people to accomplish their goals.
Black male teachers make up less than 1% of the teachers in Minnesota, but their presence in the classroom is shown to have a positive impact on students. The Normandale Community College Foundation (NCCF) is working to close equity gaps, including funding Sirtify, a program that supports Black male students aspiring to be K-12 educators.
Out Youth Austin promotes the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being of sexual- and gender-minority youth so that they can openly and safely explore and affirm their identities.
SEWA-AIFW is a nonprofit organization committed to serving, supporting and enhancing family wellness for the South Asian community in the Twin Cities and throughout Minnesota. Its main areas of concentration include domestic abuse, senior care and community health initiatives.
SACA provides food and resources to those in need while empowering dignity and independence to those served in the community.
TC Food Justice helps reduce food waste and hunger in the Twin Cities by being a link between those willing to help and those in need.
The Trevor Project's goal is to end suicide among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning young people.
Tubman advances opportunities for change so every person can experience safety, hope and healing.
