Program considerations

Prime performs services to our clients utilizing both in-house operations and third-party suppliers. It is key to our success that our in-house operations and third-party suppliers have the capability to handle our transaction volumes and our requirements for quality, cost, safeguarding of confidential data and business continuity. Prime will seek to direct business to new or existing diverse suppliers, where appropriate, to support the continued successful provision of services needed to support our clients and their members.

Second-tier supplier diversity

Our Supplier Diversity Program also encourages our first-tier suppliers to use diverse suppliers (second tier). First-tier contracts are between our company and the supplier. Second-tier contracts are between the first-tier supplier and its subcontractor(s). It is the first-tier supplier’s obligation to determine if its subcontractors are qualified diverse suppliers and to provide opportunities for diverse suppliers whenever possible.
