LISTEN NOW: Decoding health outcomes at AMCP Annual Meeting 2025
Hear some of the latest insights from the annual managed care pharmacy event, where Prime Therapeutics clinical and health outcomes teams presented leading research findings

From March 31–April 3, thousands of managed care pharmacy and health care industry professionals gathered at the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) Annual Meeting, where Prime Therapeutics (Prime) presented seven research posters and additional educational sessions that featured the latest research insights from medical and pharmacy claims data.
For the second consecutive year, Prime also tapped clinical and health outcomes experts for a special “on the road” episode of the Pharmacy Friends podcast. In this episode, hosted by Senior Public Relations Manager Alex Cook, hear more about the real-world impact of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist medications, understand how predictive models can help identify members enrolled in Medicare Part D at risk of large increases in drug spend, the research that received the Journal of Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy (JMCP)’s “Article of the Year” Award for Excellence, and other trends that shape the health care industry. This episode is a follow-up to an earlier episode of the podcast, which introduced listeners to the researchers at Prime and what inspires their work.
“So many people have come to us and recognize that our work is important,” said Pat Gleason, PharmD, BCPS, FCCP, FAMCP, assistant vice president of health outcomes. “We all learn together so that we can all try to improve how medications are used in the most affordable manner.”
