Prime Therapeutics honored with JMCP “Article of the Year” Award for Excellence
Prime’s industry-leading research on GLP-1s was recognized at the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) Annual Meeting in Houston
Prime Therapeutics (Prime)’s clinical and health outcomes researchers presented seven managed care pharmacy research posters, educational sessions and more at the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) Annual Meeting 2025 in Houston last week. In addition, Prime was honored with a prestigious award for its industry-leading research on glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists for obesity treatment.
Prime’s research article “Real-world persistence and adherence to glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists among obese commercially insured adults without diabetes,” which was published in the Journal of Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy (JMCP), was recognized with the 2024 JMCP “Article of the Year” Award for Excellence. The award, established in 2002, recognizes the best scholarly work in managed care pharmacy.
