Prime Therapeutics’ (Prime) state government solutions experts recently participated in the National Association of Medicaid Directors (NAMD) Fall 2024 Conference in Washington, D.C. The conference theme was “1 in 5: The People, Policy & Practice of Medicaid,” aptly named to illustrate that Medicaid serves 1 in 5 Americans. This annual event brings together Medicaid leaders, innovators and stakeholders from across the country.

The conference plenary session, titled “Coordinating Across Systems: Lessons from Federal Inter-Agency Priorities,” addressed the collaboration necessary among these partners to make Medicaid flourish. Discussion turned to the need for going beyond state agency lines for solutions that do right by Medicaid members and make their lives easier.
